At Fransen Decorating, Inc., we're more than just a family-owned business with small-town values and big-city skills. We're a legacy of tradition, quality, and expertise that has been built over three generations. Our story began in 1923 when our grandfather, Harry Fransen, started painting for the railroads in the Chicago area. He was an immigrant from Sweden who believed in the importance of hard work and dedication. In the early 1940s, he moved his family to rural Milaca and started a retail paint store and paint and wall covering contracting services business.

Over the years, we've grown and expanded, but our core values have remained the same. In 1965, our father, Gene and John Sr., took over the business and expanded the company into the commercial and industrial market. Today, we're in our third generation of family ownership, and we're proud to continue the tradition of quality workmanship with the best commercial, industrial, and specialty painting services available.
