At North Woods Finishing, we pride ourselves on being a fully automated, state-of-the-art production facility dedicated to bringing out the unparalleled traits that wood has to offer. Founded in 2011 by James and Amanda, our mission is to help our customers create a wide range of wood finishes, from traditional to contemporary, old world to Tuscan, and everything in between. Whether it's spray finishing, sanding, assembly, design-build, or packaging, we tailor each finish to meet the unique requirements of each project.

Our team of experts uses state-of-the-art equipment in our 25,000 square-foot facility to ensure that every job is completed to the highest standard. We work closely with construction and design consultants to achieve the desired end-product, resulting in a phenomenal look with an undeniable attention to detail and personal artistic touch. Our commitment to quality has earned us a reputation for delivering exceptional results, making us a trusted pre-finishing partner for cabinet makers, home builders, commercial fixture builders, and homeowners.

Our History

North Woods Finishing opened its doors in June 2011, following James' entry into the pre-finishing industry in 2008 and Amanda's full-time career in the industry starting in 1999. Since then, we have continued to grow and develop new solutions, investing in our customers and employees. Our journey has taken us from a 3,000 SF facility in Princeton, Minnesota, to our current 25,000 square-foot facility in Isanti, Minnesota.
