Our Story

W.F. Loyd Painting, Inc. is a professionally operated business with offices and a warehouse located in Newport, NC. We have spent many years dedicating our services to Carteret County and surrounding areas, Cherry Point and Camp Lejeune, which has earned us an excellent reputation. With over 30 years of experience, we offer our customers a complete knowledge of products, product longevity, dependability, and professionalism.

Company History

Mr. Loyd began his painting company in Virginia in 1975 at the age of 21. A friend's suggestion prompted his move to Carteret County, where he started his first "big break" in the early 1980s with the Beacon's Reach project in Pine Knoll Shores. As the business grew, Mr. Loyd's reputation for providing quality and professional workmanship developed. His reputation for giving back to the community is evident in his provision of painting services to his church, the Broad Street Clinic, and many other organizations. He has received recognition from the Council on the Arts and Humanities for "enrichment of the cultural environment of N.C. by helping provide opportunities for all citizens to experience arts and humanities."
