Painting Preparation

Our painting preparation process is based on our knowledge and expertise in creating an excellent paint job. Our painters are committed to excellence and will complete the following steps:

• Power washing of exterior surfaces to clean the surface and remove dirt and cobwebs
• Caulking of cracks where caulking has failed
• Caulking of nail holes where nails have sunk into the siding
• Scraping any loose or peeling paint from the exterior
• Sanding and priming areas that are chipping or peeling
• Wood puttying large gaps or holes in trim or siding boards
• Masking off the roof, bricks, windows, etc.
• Replacement of rotten or warped boards

Interior Painting Preparation

Our interior painting preparation process is designed to ensure that your home is prepared for painting. This includes:

• Moving furniture to the center of the room and covering with plastic
• Covering flooring with paint drop cloths
• Moving valuables or covering them with plastic
• Filling major cracks in ceilings, walls, and trim
• Caulking cracks if necessary
• Patching up any holes or cracks
• Sanding and priming areas that are chipping or peeling
• Explaning the process so you know what to expect

Our Process

Our process begins with meeting with you one-on-one to discuss your design preferences and discuss your goals for the project. We then provide a personalized proposal that allows you to pick and choose the areas that are most important to you and make informed decisions. Once you are comfortable with your free personalized quote, we will coordinate a time to begin the project for you.
