Our Story
Carlos Munoz, our owner, began painting at an early age in his native country of Colombia, helping his dad in a detail-oriented profession. After moving to America, Carlos started working for a painting company in Florida as an assistant painter and soon became a lead painter, where he learned new techniques. With his wife and daughter, they decided to start a new life in the Pacific Northwest. They moved to Portland, Oregon in 2003 and brought innovative painting methods that have become industry standards used today. In 2005, Carlos formed Distinctive Enterprises and Painting, LLC, specializing in painting newly-built and existing homes in exclusive developments in Lake Oswego, Happy Valley, West Linn, among others. Homes painted by Distinctive Enterprises and Painting, LLC have been featured in local magazines and newspapers.
