Our founder, James Muscott, is a northern Michigan native and a proud veteran of the U.S. Army. After serving his country, James decided to serve his community by volunteering on the Springvale Fire Department. He then went on to pursue higher education, earning a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Michigan. James' passion for entrepreneurship and innovation led him to start Muscott's Painting in 2000, with just a few tools and a vision. Today, Muscott's Painting has grown into one of the area's most notable painting contractors, with a team of over 25 employees and a long list of distinguished clients.
