Business Details
We have been providing professional painting services in the Portland area since 1994, building on over thirty years of combined industry experience. Our founders, Jeff Gibson and Alex Fish, each brought more than two decades of expertise when they established G & F Painting after their previous employer closed. For the first twelve years we operated as a dedicated two-person team, mastering residential and commercial projects with meticulous attention to detail. In 2005 we began to expand our crew during peak seasons, allowing us to take on larger volumes while maintaining our quality standards. After evaluating growth strategies, we chose to keep our workforce small and focused, knowing that a compact team delivers superior responsiveness and craftsmanship. The addition of Dan Bishop in 2015 strengthened our leadership, as he now runs crews and manages jobs alongside our founders.
Today Jeff and Alex personally oversee every project, ensuring that one or both of us are present on site daily to uphold our exacting standards. Our long-standing commitment to clear communication means we are available before, during, and after each job to address questions and concerns. We select only premium primers and paints, staying current with product developments to guarantee a durable, beautiful finish. By keeping overhead low we offer competitive pricing without sacrificing the professionalism and reliability our clients expect. Over three decades we have completed hundreds of painting projects for satisfied customers, and we continue to earn trust through consistent, high-quality work.
