Our Story and Mission

At Lane Brothers, we are proud to be a third-generation, family-owned and operated contracting firm. Our story begins in 1946 when two brothers, Carl R. Lane and Lewis H. Lane, founded our company in Richmond, Virginia. Over the years, we have grown to become one of the largest and most sought-after painting contractors in Richmond and Central Virginia. Our mission is to deliver quality and value in a professional manner, exceeding our customers' expectations and building lasting relationships.

Our Team

Our team is comprised of experienced professionals who are dedicated to delivering exceptional results. Our management team includes President T. Bryan Lane, Vice President William E. Lane, and Chair of the Board Elaine C. Lane. Our Field Superintendent, Lester Oliver, oversees our field work force of painting and wallcovering personnel.

Our Facilities

We are located in our own 3-story building in downtown Richmond, with a combined 14,300 square feet of office and warehouse space. Our estimating and project managing staff of three has a combined 85 years of experience in the painting industry, and our office support staff of three ensures seamless operations.
