Our company was founded in 2012, and since then, we have grown from a two-person team working out of a small cottage into a 100-plus person team with over 90 full-time painters on staff and locations in both Modesto and Reno. As of 2020, we are proudly a women-owned business, with Gretchen Arbini, a seventh-generation Oakdale native and interior designer, as our President.

Safety Concerns and Rude Staff
Several reviewers have expressed frustration with their interactions with Crown Painting. Gary Gill experienced a safety concern when the driver heading southbound on Crowslanding nearly ran him off the road, and avoided eye contact. Steph Rae had a poor experience with Marcie, the head of HR, who was rude and unprofessional during a phone call regarding a court-ordered legal matter. Christina Rooks was left waiting for over an hour past her scheduled appointment time with no phone call or communication from the company.
Mixed Reviews on Quality and Pricing
On the other hand, Garett Blount felt that the company's services were worth the cost, citing their commercial work and reputation. Alicia H. and Lavonne Bieber, however, were pleased with their experiences, with Alicia praising the company's prompt and professional services and Lavonne crediting Joe Peterson with helping her choose the perfect colors for her home's interior paint job.
