Our Story

Our company was founded by Rich Purnell, a full-time sponsored ice climber, who realized that he could make a living hanging at the end of a rope painting tall iconic structures. Little did he know that owners would seek his skills nationwide within a few years. Today, we have worked nationwide on unique projects and won several awards from industry leaders. We are one of the few companies to specialize in painting projects that are seemingly inaccessible and difficult, places most contractors will only dare to go.

We cater to a variety of clients, including historical building painters, tower painters, cell tower painting contractors, stadium painters, structure painters, and high-rise building painters. Tower Painting

BASE Group is a company that specializes in the preparation and application of coatings for towers. We have years of experience and training in surface preparation and painting procedures and adhere to industry-leading standards from NACE and SSPC. Our services include lead abatement, media blasting, containments, brush/roll, and spraying of various coatings including polyurethanes, epoxies, zinc, and water-based. Our past clients include the FAA, USCG, AT&T, Verizon, Crowne Castle, American Tower, USFS, and municipalities across the country.
