Questions
How do I calculate paint requirements for my project?
Consider square footage, surface type, and color changes. Divide total area by paint coverage specifications from the manufacturer for accurate estimates.
Is premium paint worth the investment?
Higher quality paints use superior ingredients that provide better durability, easier application, and longer-lasting finishes that save money through reduced maintenance needs.
What differences exist between paint finishes?
Different sheens offer varying durability and maintenance characteristics: flat hides imperfections but cleans poorly, while glossier finishes resist stains but show surface flaws more readily.
Can wallcovering tears be repaired without full replacement?
Yes, using overlay patching techniques that maintain pattern continuity while addressing localized damage through precise cutting and matching.
How do you handle lead paint concerns?
Follow strict containment and cleanup protocols during renovations involving pre-1978 paint, advising clients to disclose lead paint presence prior to project commencement.
What sets Power Decorating Co. Co. apart from competitors?
Owner supervision, technical expertise in painting and wallcovering, use of commercial-grade materials, and meticulous attention to detail across every project phase.
