As a third-generation painter, Jeff Hagen, owner of J N Hagen Painting, grew up surrounded by the artistry of painting. With his father, Norman, Jeff began learning the trade at an early age. Norman Hagen was renowned as one of the best painters in the Bay Area, and his passion for quality and excellence was passed down to Jeff.

As Jeff honed his skills, he had the opportunity to work with some of the top painters, decorators, and designers in California. Edmond Kara, a decorator/designer from the Los Angeles area, taught Jeff many of the special techniques and finishes used in the trade. Jeff has had the privilege of working on large-scale projects, from governmental housing to high-end residential projects.
